Memorandum of Transfer by the Colonial Government of Hongkong, represented by Colonial Secretary, to His Majesty's Secretary of State for War, represented by Officer Commanding the Troops in Hongkong
Be it remembered that we, the undersigned, has transferred made acting for the Colonial Government, transfers and lets over to on behalf of the S. of d for the War Department, the right of continuous use, perpetual till no longer required for War Department use, as hereinafter explained, of a plot of bare land situated at Phoenix in the District of Plaines Wilhems and forming part of the Phoenix Railway Station premises, of the extent of Two hundred and fifty six square yards, or thereabout, bounded:
Towards the North West by War Department Land on Forty four feet or 13.41 metres,
Towards the North East by the Railway land on sixty six feet or 20.12 metres,
Towards the South East by the Main Road on Thirty eight feet or 11.58 metres,
Towards the South West by the Railway land on sixty six feet or 20.12 metres.
The diagonal joining the Northern to the Southern angle measures Ninety six feet or 29.26 metres.
